The FLL Junior teams have been really busy since the kick off. We have been researching this year’s theme – Honey Bees, their habitat and the challenges they face. The video below summarises the three challenges faced by the bees.
- Loss of habitat / poor nutrition
- Use of Pesticides
- Parasites weakening the bees
Each team has been assigned one of these challenges to research further and think about potential solutions.
We have also been developing the team names, logos, learning about simple machines and learning about the design process.
